Ilana Davidi, Founder

Ilana has over 10 years of experience in web design, development, and implementation for sites such as Sports Illustrated, AOL, and CNN. While the majority of her career has been devoted to server-side Java, J2EE, and SQL, she also has extensive skills as a front-end and graphics developer.
She has excellent communication skills, both written (BA English, Dartmouth 1996) and verbal, and was often tasked with communicating with clients during the aforementioned projects, as well as at MITRE, a defense firm.
Ilana has also had the pleasure of working at several smaller firms--as both a consultant and a full-time employee--where she was able to further her skills across various silos, such as advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and site promotion.
EducationAfter taking 10 years off from school to establish herself as a respected
developer and manager, Ilana recently completed a Master's of Science graduate degree
at MIT and Sloan in Engineering and Management with a concentration
on the software business and Web 2.0. (If you want to learn about Web 2.0,
this paper will help.)
Ilana continues to be involved at the school and learns from papers, discussions, and presentations provided by the school and her fellow alumni. Such information influx allows her to have the earliest possible knowledge of which technologies are growing in importance, as well as of the technologies that should be avoided.
As previously mentioned, Ilana earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Dartmouth College.
